With the summer season right around the corner, I want to say be careful and never underestimate the other guys' stupidity when you are out there riding. See you soon and stay safe.

Everyone should be making their plans for the convention. Anyone with convention info get it to Gabby. Rooms are limited so get moving. Any clubs who have any party info, get it to Sgt. Schultz.

As we continue with the law suit against Broken Oar the papers are being filed. Hopefully we will take a ride there and have a drink. Another ride I would like to continue is the ride to R&R for steaks. That was fun and quite the show of unity.

Unity. That is what all the clubs must show. Attend each others' parties and events. Our cause of fighting discrimination is just and righteous, and our unity will be our strenghth. Once we begin to put the real effort into defending our lifestyle we will know we are on the right track. We as club members have the weight of society on us because we dare to be different. People say lead a 'normal' life, what they don't realize is that there isn't "normal" life, there is just Life. So live it.

This is an important year because it is an election year. We must become a voting force. Once we accomplish that, we will win.

I also hope everyone is ready for the Aric Wooley Memorial. I know that everyone is pitching in and helping. The Confederation is working hard to make this event grow each year and become even more successful. I hope to see everyone there.

I couldn't end this without a comment on the Patriot Act. One of the most bogus parts of the Act is the 'Sneak and Peak' part. Think about it. If you knew a person that said "I went out and was doing some sneak and peak," you would look at this person and say "What's up with you? Are you nuts?" But yet our own Government does this. They're like a pervert. Of course, the pervert says "I'm not a pervert," which is the pervert motto. So to end, the Patriot Act is a perversion and must be stopped.

I like the way he says "prescription drugs," like it is the doctors' fault. Stop whining you Pompous Ass.

Here is the smal justice, Lush was exposed for what he is - a whining, big mouth, hypocrite. So if you listen to him, remember you are listening to a hypocrite and a liar.

The members of our Confederation have come together to fight for a common cause. We must endeavor to persevere. We just don't have a choice. It is funny, all we want is to have a choice to choose what to wear and how to live, yet businesses, people and the government give us no choice. But over two hundred years ago this same fight was fought and it was called the Revolutionary War. So we must continue the Fight for Freedom.

We are the the Freedom Fighters of Today.

Anyway I want to say to everyone have a safe Memorial Day and watch out for the Assholes. Have a good time. Check out the Events page and try to attend our Members' Events. Let's Support our Members! Don't come up with excuses, just go and enjoy. That is what it is all about. Besides, with the way things are going, pretty soon it might be against the law to enjoy yourself, if the Administration has its' way.

I was thinking about things the other day and wondered about when our civilization is looked back at, what is our mythology? What grows to be bigger in time and in life? Like the Greeks, Romans and any ancient group they had their heroes that grew to be great Legends. Well for the civilization we live in it started with the Cowboys and grew into Patch holders. We are the Ones who will leave a story that future people will envy. We are the Free, the Brave, the Rightous. We are special. The ones who try to be what they are not always fall a day short. Our movement is not for everyone, but what would it be if it was?

Well I listened to the State of the Union message. It was interesting with some good points, some not so good points and often some just plain foolish points. The real question on my mind was, if we are going to fight for freedom in Iraq, Afganistan, Iran and wherever else there is to fight, what about OUR Freedom? What about the Freedom for the people of THIS country? We lose more and more civil rights each day. These are our Freedoms and no one is saying anything about them. Who is going to free us?!

It is all pretty wierd. By the way, has any oil been found in North Korea? I guess North Korea doesn't need to be freed.

You know it always looks very cool when I see all of the different patches coming together to have a good time. But it is even cooler to see all of the Clubs coming together and staying focused on our cause. THAT is really cool!

Look at our country, we now pay for things that used to be free. We give rewards and pats on the back for being mediocre. Go into any fast food place and order something other than a number. If you don't tell the person "I'll take a number 3" and instead order something that you want, you've confused him or her. It's amazing.

We are the last of the Free. We can not forget that by giving up our Beliefs and Freedoms as others are doing. We must carry on.

Our trip to The Broaken Oar started the ball rolling in the direction with which this Confederation was started. All in all, I believe that with the help of all the clubs we will continue to fight for our rights as Patch Holders. This is not a fight for Land, for Money, or for an old Lady, but a fight for the Freedom of Choice - the choice to choose the Lifestyle we want, to come and go as we please, to be treated with the Rights and Privileges of every American. We as Patch holders are the last true believers in Freedom. We must at all costs Defend, Protect and Carry on.

I know that everyone has different opinions. Some people are concerned with the economy and others are concerned with the war on terrorism. There are even more concerns and causes that are important to others. The idea behind a Democracy is that we can vote into office the people who have the same concerns and beliefs as our own. But without getting into a political debate, the problem I see, is that we as patch holders (want to) lead a free lifestyle. We can't have judges appointed who don't believe in Personnel Freedoms or The Bill of Rights (see The Supreme Court; see R.I.C.O., see Patriot Act)

This is what we will now face. All the judges appointed will be conservative - that doesn't help the patch holder. The President, the Senators and the Representatives we can vote out. The Judges are appointed and are there for life. So if you ever find yourself standing in front of one of these judges, think of how - or if - you voted.

On a personal note, Saturday, November 2nd the funeral for Big Butch 1%er GBNF will be held in Galesburg. He was a great brother and the best friend a brother could have. I will miss him greatly. Ride Free in the Forever Chapter.
